Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, who are happily married, recently went through a reel-life break-up for the upcoming romcom Happy Ending.
In the scene, Saif's character is dumped by his girlfriend, played by Kareena and the nawab's begum walks out on him after cheekily showing him the finger. Although the scene was always a part of the script, director Krishna DK says that casting Kareena in the cameo was a spontaneous decision.

"We thought the idea of a married couple breaking up on screen was really cool. And Kareena is fabulous!" he exults. "She perfectly understood the humour inherent in the scene."
But the censors may not find the scene all that funny. When Sonam Kapoor had flipped her finger in Abbas Mustan's Players, the Censors had promptly gave the shot the snip.
Bring up that instance and Krishna DK says, "We've submitted the film to Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The scene has been shot in a tongue-in-cheek manner and is not offensive at all. We are hopeful that the Board will clear it."
